Thanks to a friend’s suggestion, I’ve started as a New Year’s resolution to do a sketch a day. Hopefully I’ll keep it up. I feel a bit rusty, but it feels great to start again

Pumpkin Painting Contest

For HOHNER’s annual fall festival, they had a pumpkin painting contest. I painted these monster characters based on the different product lines: Impugnable Imprinted, Attack-ordions (accordions), Dreaded Fretted, The Harm-onica, Moaner Kids (Hohner Kids), Poi-sonor (Sonor Drums). It won first place.OHNER’s annual fall festival, they had a pumpkin painting contest. Arbor Day Poster

For the past few weeks I’ve been working with the Richmond Tree Stewards to create a poster for their Arbor Day event. It is going to be held Saturday, April 4 on the Carillon in Byrd Park. There will be tree climbing, workshops, free bare-root trees, and for the kids there will be hands on experiments, and radio disney’s ranger spruce sassafras’s “the tree trivia game.” Here is some of the process work:
